Halló! I'm Óskar Bragi, the heart and voice behind Speak Viking. For over a decade, I've been guiding curious language learners through the beautiful complexities of Icelandic online.
My teaching journey began as a simple way to connect with people interested in my native language. What I didn't expect was how profoundly it would reconnect me with my own linguistic heritage. What started as lessons about grammar and vocabulary blossomed into something much more meaningful: a global community of learners sharing discoveries, stories, and cultural connections.
